NIH Campus Security
Due to increased security measures on the NIH Campus, all visitors must present a photo ID upon arrival. NIH badges or visitor passes must be worn at all times at the Natcher Conference Center.

NIH visitor information is available at www.nih.gov/about/visitor/index.htm.

Parking
If you are not employed onsite at the NIH Campus, we strongly encourage you to take Metro since parking at NIH can be difficult to find and there are few visitor parking spaces. The Natcher Conference Center is a 5-minute walk from the Medical Center Metro station on the Red Line. The Natcher Building is located on Center Drive directly behind the Medical Center station.

If you must drive and you do not have an NIH photo-ID badge or an NIH parking permit, you can enter the campus only at the Old Georgetown Road and Center Drive entrance or at the Rockville Pike and South Drive entrance. Please allow adequate time to pass through security checkpoints. The Natcher Building is located at 45 Center Drive and is across from the National Library of Medicine.
