Digital Biology: The Emerging Paradigm will reflect the NIH's commitment to collaborative endeavors. In conjunction with this symposium, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Science Foundation (NSF) will convene separate satellite events on November 4-5, 2003, in the Bethesda, Maryland, area. Brief reports from these satellite events will be summarized during a plenary session of the NIH symposium.
