Purpose: This is the sixth annual meeting of investigators funded under an NHGRI program to reduce the cost of high quality sequencing of complete human genomes to $100,000 by 2009 and to $1,000 by 2014. An integral part of the program, this meeting accelerates progress by open sharing of progress and of ideas for overcoming roadblocks.
