On behalf of the National Cancer Institute's (NCI), Physical Sciences in Oncology Initiative, we are pleased to invite you to the Fifth Annual Physical Sciences – Oncology Centers (PS-OCs) Network Investigators' Meeting, April 1-4, 2014 at the Natcher Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland. As part of the Physical Sciences in Oncology Initiative, the PS-OC Network brings cross-disciplinary teams together to foster the development of innovative ideas and new fields of study that converge perspectives and approaches of physical sciences and engineering with cancer biology and clinical oncology.
We welcome all PS-OC contributors, ranging from principal investigators to postdoctoral fellows and graduate students, to participate in the upcoming meeting. This event will highlight scientific efforts within the PS-OC Network, promote collaborations, and provide a venue for discussions that will explore the physical laws and principles that shape and govern the emergence and behavior of cancer at all scales. This year's meeting will include a Young Investigators' meeting Tuesday, April 1st (registration fee, closed to public), a Physical Sciences in Oncology Symposium (free and open to the public) on Wednesday, April 2nd, and Physical Sciences-Oncology Centers Network Investigators’ Meeting on April 3 – 4 (registration fee, closed to public).
We are looking forward to your participation in this important event.
