Through its umbrella, task order contract with NIH, all of CCC's staff and services can be easily and quickly accessed. With noncompetitive task orders, NIH clients can contract the services of CCC's conference management and exhibit, writing and editing, graphics design, and database and Web design staff. In addition, CCC has in its database consultants with expertise in program planning, policymaking, strategic planning, evaluation, scientific writing, and biomedical specialties who can be made available through this contract. Many times our NIH clients have specific experts in mind who can also be accessed through the umbrella contract.

Through over 100 task orders totaling more than $12 million, CCC staff work with NIH staff to accomplish the following services:

• Full premeeting, onsite, and postmeeting conference management and publications support for meetings, including national conferences, advisory committee meetings, Secretary's level committee meetings, training workshops, informational programs for the public, and anniversary symposia and press conferences
• Development of Web sites for online registration, abstract submission, and meeting information and dissemination
• Writing and development of informational Web sites and an e-zine
• Coordination of travel and lodging for speakers and presenters
• Design and preparation of meeting materials including promotional and registration brochures, journal advertisements, program books and workshop binders, name badges and tent cards, meeting signage, and invitational letters and postmeeting thank you letters
• Writing, editing, and production of a variety of publications such as strategic plans, congressional reports, articles for Web publication, newsletters, and meeting proceedings and summaries for both print and Web publication
• Design and maintenance of databases for inventory storage, conference attendee tracking, contact information and mailing list maintenance
• Production of CD-ROM proceedings
• Web casting and satellite broadcasting of meetings and press conferences
• Technical assistance in the form of consultant writers, program analysts, researchers, site visits for monitoring laboratory facilities, and meeting facilitators
• Warehousing and fulfillment of publications
• Video production for scientific information and dissemination
